WarShip
- added 13 September, 2000
This
game is a simple yet functional computer incarnation of the classic
pen-and-paper game Battleship. Some of you have perhaps not played
Battleship before, so we'll go through the rules first. You begin
by placing your six ships on a 10x10 grid. Then you and your opponents
take turns bombing the other players grid. The first player to sink
all the opponent's ships wins the game.
One major letdown with WarShip is that you can only play against
the computer player. It would be nice if you could play with a friend,
on the same computer or over the Internet. Warship has simple graphics,
but at the same time they are quite stylish. The same goes for the
sound effects. WarShip is fun for a while, but it quickly wears
out.
Download WarShip if you want a simple single-player version of
BattleShip.
