About Freeware Gaming
What's this site about?
Freeware Gaming is a website where you can find games that
are completely free of charge, also called freeware. There
are no shareware games or demos here. The games, which all
are reviewed by us before being put on the site, are placed
in different categories so that you can find the type of game
that you are interested in. We would be most grateful if you
have any suggestions on how we can improve the site, or if
you tell us about a game that you think should be listed on

Why are we different?
As you probably know, there are a lot of other sites
out there that are about free games. So why should you visit
this site instead of all the others? Well, for one thing we
only list truly free games, you'll find no shareware or demos
here or games with restrictions. Another thing, which we believe
is a great advantage, is that we review every game listed
on this site. Other sites often just write a line or two about
each game, which isn't really helpful. We think that reviews
are essential to helping you find the games that you are interested
in. By reading our reviews you'll get an idea about what to
expect from a game before downloading it.
The rating system
We rate a game by giving it between one and five stars according
to how much we like it. In the table further down you can
see what to expect from the different ratings. If we find
a game to be highly entertaining, challenging and fun, and
if we keep playing it long after it has been reviewed, we'll
mark it with a pair of sunglasses. You can find all our favorite
games at this page.

A game that is truly significant
in both design and content will achieve our top rating
of five stars. |

A rating of four stars means the
game is very good and can be recommended to everyone. |

Three stars means that the game is
about average, but it can still be recommended to fans
of the particular genre |

Below average. Games that receive
this rating are lacking in both design and content. |

Poor games that you shouldn't bother
to download. Only for particularly interested. |
